Personality: Ambrosia is a quirky girl, and she doesn’t let other people’s thoughts bother her. She tries very hard to not be a wallflower and takes part in trying to stand out. Always looking for adventure or something exciting, Ambrosia is the first to jump to take a ‘dare’ in Truth or Dare, or to try new, outrageous, or maybe even ‘dangerous’ things, such as sky diving or spelunking. Rather than wait around on a boy, Ambrosia chooses to stick up for herself and to enjoy life to the fullest that it has to offer. She likes to pride herself on making friends and extracurricular activity. Due to her outgoing personality, people tend to know who she is, and perhaps a little too well. She tends to be popular but not for the usual reasons and diffidently does not hold the same status of any Queen Bees. Ambrosia just is not the classic ‘it’ girl, nor does she command the attention of people like an army, she is perhaps the reject from the clique or the experiment gone wrong, just too friendly with not enough fakeness. She can get herself into a lot of trouble though because she doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut half the time.

Ambrosia's parents met one night at a party, for once Richard Croft was taking a break from his studies and he ran into then a Melanie Kennedy. While Richard did not believe in love at first sight, he was quite taken with the girl who was dancing before him. One night soon lead into a number of a dates afterwards, which took Richard a bit of courage to get. Even then, his catholic parents did not fully appreciate Melanie Kennedy for her major was in studies of Occult and Witchcraft legends and beginnings. Despite their disapproval, Richard continued to see her, and their relationship saw through after he graduated and went on to a law firm. Years later, they married and soon gave birth to a daughter which they chose to name Ambrosia Croft.

To say that Ambrosia's birth had been a surprise was hardly an understatement. The Crofts believed that they were not going to have children ever, due to their busy schedule between Richard's law firms as well as Meleanie's college teachings. Also, due to Richard's slow rise in power, he generally tended to fear for Meleanie's well being as some of the people he put away behind bars were less than notable citizens, but they still had connections. However, they both coped with the surprise and couldn't imagine their lives without their daughter, who was full of spark and adventure. There was never a dull moment in their lives with their little bundle of joy, until the year where Ambrosia turned twelve, then tragedy struck.

During a winter storm, Melanie Croft lost control of her car and was part of a tragic car accident. With her death, Richard would have gone into a depression if it weren't for Ambrosia and the realization that he still needed to take care of her. It was then when she decided that she was going to get out of New Jersey. Managing to keep her farther on his feet, and he quickly went back to working at his firms, Ambrosia discovered the joy of horse back riding and started to put her full energy into that. She made a bond with a little gleding by the name of Pie at her stables, and together, they started to make a rather good team.

Being from a small town, her mother's death constantly seemed to be the talk of the town because it was so unheard of to die of anything other than old age, so Ambrosia constantly had the story looming over her head. Deciding that she didn't want to uproot her father from their home and the town they grew to love, Ambrosia started investigating in boarding schools that fit her needs and soon, she discovered one: Kingslee Academy. Quickly, she applied behind her father's back and got in, and realizing there was nothing else she could do, she took her case to Richard. After a few days of consideration, Richard finally gave in and gave Ambrosia his permission.

As a going away present, he surprised his daughter with Pie, who he managed to convince the stables to sell her. So now, Ambrosia and Pie are entering the big bad world on their own, and she cannot wait to do so.

Personality: Pie is a loud little horse with a loud personality to match. He and Ambrosia complement each other quite nicely. For the most part, Pie doesn't appear to have a bad bone in his body although he prefers the company of smaller animals such as donkeys and goats than to full size horses. He's a quick learner and rather intelligent which can also get him in trouble as well. Pie can be just as quirky as Ambrosia when it comes to certain things, and is rather slow when being lead about, and always has to pause and look around before entering any enclosurer. He tends to enjoy lounging in the shade and eating more than working out, but Pie will pick up his pace if given a little encouragement. He's a give and go kind of horse, and while he certainly will not make any championship shows, Pie can certainly give a run for the money with local and state shows.
History: Pie was a school horse at Ambrosia's old stables before he was bought to be her full time horse.
